Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2017 Nissan Murano, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Adding a 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness to the back of your Murano is gonna allow you to safely transfer the lighting signals from your Murano to your trailer to let others know what your intentions are when you're pulling that trailer. This kit will give you your left turn signal, your right turn signal. It will combine those signals to give you your stop signal. It'll have your running lights and then the fourth wire on your 4-Pole is going to be your ground so that the system works properly. more

Adding a 4-pole wiring harness to the back of your Pathfinder is gonna allow you to safely tow a trailer by transferring the signals back to the taillights to let others know what your intentions are. This harness is gonna give you your left turn, your right turn, your stop signal, which is just a combination between the left and right turns and your running light signal. The other, the fourth pole is going to be the ground. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Nissan Titan, and we're gonna be taking a look at the Hopkins Four-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Now this Titan is going to be prepped with the tow package, so there's going to be a seven-pole plug up here behind the bumper. It's not, it just has a little tab that is securing it, and you can pull it down. And then your four-pole connector will plug directly into this USCAR connector. This is going to allow you to have a four-pole at the back of your vehicle to connect to a trailer. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at "etrailer". And today, we're taking a look and installing the Tekonsha seven-pole trailer wiring on a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. If you ever plan on towing a trailer with your vehicle, it's essential to pick up trailer wiring. And that way, you can plug into the trailer and mimic the light sequence on your vehicle to the trailer, keeping you safe and legal. And sometimes your four-pole will get you by, but on larger trailers, sometimes you have a seven-pole connection and it's nice to have that seven-pole because you can also get a 12-volt outlet from it as well as the ability to run a brake controller, so that's why we have our seven-pole installed on our Pathfinder today. Overall, the installation is pretty easy on this. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Tekonsha T-One Trailer Wiring Harness which is gonna be a 4-pole on a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. Now if you are planning on towing any trailer with your Pathfinder you are gonna need to pick up some 4-pole wiring and that's gonna allow you to send your running lights, your brake lights, and turn signals to the lights on the trailer, keeping you safe and legal. But also a lot of accessories these days as far as bike racks or cargo carriers will also take a 4-pole if they do have LED wiring on them. So it's a good option to have installed on your vehicle and this one is super easy to get installed. It's plug and play, there's no splicing and you have everything you need in your kit to get this wired up. Pretty simple, you're gonna be plugging in to an interior plug that's gonna match to your new harness. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the Curt four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2019 Nissan Rogue. We're gonna have our four-pole living just kinda tucked over here or you can even put it in your storage compartment, so it's out of sight until you're ready to tow. And then all you'll need to do is drape this over this weather stripping here. Just make sure you don't have it right where the latch is and it's perfectly fine for this to close down on it as it's not gonna damage the wiring. The four-pole is going to be the way that you're going to attach to your trailer to get the light functions to go from your vehicle to the taillights on the trailer, giving you the turn signals as well as your running lights and brake lights, keeping you safe and legal and letting the people behind you know what you're intending to do. more

Today in your 2020 Nissan Pathfinder, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Tekonsha's seven pole vehicle wiring harness.We have assembly connector located here at the back of the vehicle. That's going to provide our trailer with all the necessary lighting functions, as well as functionality to charge our battery and for the braking system that's installed on the trailer. So inside we have seven circuits. That's going to include your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps, keeping you DOT compliant in all States with the proper lighting, as well as a brake signal circuit, which is the output from your brake controller and auxiliary charged circuit, which is for the battery on your trailer to keep them topped up, as well as a ground circuit, which is required for your trailer, to be able to be connected to the battery in your vehicle, for that charge circuit and the brake controller.And lastly, we have a reverse light circuit in there, which many of your trailers out there don't have reverse lights, but it's always nice to have that option, in the event that you have a trailer that does have reverse lights. So in your Pathfinder, this is going to be great if you're planning on using it to pull something, let's say like a popup camper, or even a small camper. With our seven way here, it's going to have the functionality we'll need for a brake controller because many campers do have brakes on them. more

Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com. Today you're going to be taking a look at the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with a seven blade RV style connector on our 2019 Nissan Frontier. Now our Tekonsha wiring harness is going to provide us with the seven way connector at the back of our Frontier, that way we have all of the required lights, like our clearance lights, turn signals, and our brake lights, but it's also going to give us our reverse signal, our brake controller output signal, as well as a 12 volt power source at the back of our seven way.Now I do want to mention that our kit is not going to come with the mounting bracket to mount your seven way plug up to, so you will need to pick up this extra. But here we're using the Pollak seven way mounting bracket that fits our socket perfectly. The socket is going to have a spring loaded door, that way it'll keep all the dirt, debris, and moisture out of the inside, hopefully preventing any kind of corrosion from building up on the contacts.If you're looking to pull a trailer with your Frontier, wiring is going to be necessary, but our seven way not only is going to give us those lighting functions but it's also going to let us add a brake controller later on down the road if we want to, so we have a little bit more control of our trailer. Now, our Tekonsha wiring harness is going to provide us with a four-pole flat trailer connector, that way we can get all the required lights to get down the road safely, like our taillights, our turn signals, and our brake lights. And when we're pulling a trailer, we don't have to worry about someone running into the back of us or getting a ticket, because it's going to keep us safe and legal while we're towing.Now, our wiring is designed to stay on the outside of the vehicle at all times, so it will be close by our hitch whenever we want to use it. It is going to include a dust cap that's going to be permanently attached, which will also help out keeping the dust, dirt, and debris, but also we can use it to hang or wearing off of our hitch on the seas chain loop that we don't have to worry about it dragging.One of the best things about our wiring is the fact of how easy it is to install. We're not going to have to cut or splice into any of our wires on our truck. In fact, there's only going to be one plug behind our bumper here that we'll be pulling our four-pole wire in, and then on the inside of the truck we'll have another harness and put a few relays in. more

Now, our current wiring's going to provide us with a four way flat trailer connector, and we're going to have all the lights to get down the road safely, including our tail lights, turn signals, stop lights, everything we need so we can make sure everyone around us is safe and we're safe going down the highway.Now our 4-pole wiring is designed to stay on the outside by our hedge until we're ready to use it, but what's nice is it is going to include a dust cap, so we can use that to keep all the dirt, debris, and moisture out from inside of our connector, but at the same time we can use it to keep it from dragging the ground, and tie it to our safety chain loop, that way it'll be ready for us whenever we want to tow.What I really like about our wiring is the fact that we're not going to have to cut anything at all. There's no splicing required. We're simply going to have one connector behind our bumper here, put our 4-pole plug into and then on the passenger side we're going to have another harness that we're going to plug into relays. Extremely quick and easy process. In fact, let's go and walk through it together.To begin our installation, we want to come underneath our Frontier, and over on the driver's side we'll find a few plugs. more

Now our wiring is inaudible 00:00:11 and the 4-pole flat trailer connector. So we have all the required lights to get down the road safely and securely, like our running lights or stoplights and our turn signals. Now our wiring does come with a dust cover we attach to the connector itself, keep all that dirt, debris and moisture out. However, when we're not using our wiring, it is designed to stay on the inside of the car. We can open up the trunk and whenever we want to store it we're just going to store it inside the trunk or we can actually put it down below down by our spare tire.And when we do want to use it, we're going to drop it out the rear of the trunk. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2010 Nissan Altima- Video
Today on our 2010 Nissan Altima we're going to be installing Tekonsha's T-One 4-Pole vehicle wiring harness, part number 118470. This wiring harness is going to give us all the necessarily lighting we need in our trailer. This includes our left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps. So we'll be DOT compliant in all states.There's an attached dust cap so you can keep out any dirt, debris, and moisture to ensure a long lasting connection. Initially when you're not using it, if is outside the vehicle you can secure it to your hitch in one of the safety chain loops and this'll keep it up out of the way. When you're not using your cable you can simply wrap it up and store it in the compartment located under the panel here in the back. more

Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with 7-way trailer connector. That's going to be part number 118266. To help us with our installation, we're going to be using the Pollak mounting bracket, part number PK12711U.Here's what our wiring's going to look like once we have it installed. I do want to mention that our kit is not going to come with a mounting bracket, so we will need to pick one of those up so we can secure the connector at the back of the truck. Our wiring's going to give us a 7-way connector, that way we have all the required lights to get down the road safely, like our turn signals, stop lights, tail lights, and our reverse lights.It's also going to give us a 12 volt power source at the back of the 7-way, and the option to use an electronic brake controller if we choose to put one in later.The spring-loaded door along with the rubber gasket on the inside is going to prevent any kind of debris or moisture from getting inside.
